Active@ Disk Image is software that makes an exact copy of any PC disks (HDD,USB,CD,DVD,Blu-ray etc. . . ) and stores it into a folder. The disk images may be used for backups, PC upgrades or disk duplication purposes. In case of computer failure, a backup image may be used to recover your computer system or find & restore any necessary files from within an image.
Active@ Boot Disk (bootable CD/USB) as a program component helps you bring a dead system back to life to restore a Windows system disk.

Main Features* Create Backup Disk Image & Raw Disk Image
Active@ Disk Image creates two types of disk images:
o Backup Disk Image is used for backup of entire computer or any PC disks, and contains used disk space only.
o Raw Disk Image contains an identical copy of every disk sector. It can be used for backup of non-Windows systems and future data recovery.
* Back up to almost any media
CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD+R DL(Dual Layer), USB and FireWire devices, network drives, Zip and Jaz drives, HD DVD and Blu-ray Discs supported.
* Schedule a backup
Schedule the regular making of a disk image.
* Disk Image Explorer
You may view the contents of the disk image archive file and restore individual files from it.

What's New Version 4.2.4 is released on Jan 11, 2011:
- New: Copy Disk to Disk feature (direct copying partitions with resizing)
- New: Scheduled incremental backups support (Pro version)
- New: Incremental backup of unknown file systems is supported
- Fixed: Creating raw image on the disk with insufficient space causes Error=2 at the end
- Fixed: Restoring exFAT partition under Windows 7 yields Error=5 at the end of the process
